Operating a Sustainable Campus requires looking beyond the short-term costs of policies and activities to also consider longer-term impacts on the environment and social well-being of the surrounding community. The University of Arizona is striving to make smart decisions today so that future generations will have the resources available to meet their needs.
A main component of this is "greening the campus," which means that university members attempt to minimize the ecological footprint of the campus.
