Aimee Rodriguez (She/Her/Hers)

Senior Office Specialist

Aimee graduated from the University of Arizona in May 2021, where she earned a B.A. in Anthropology with a minor in Environmental Studies and another in Intercultural Studies. Her academic foundation laid the groundwork for her commitment to sustainability and social justice. Since graduating, she has worked with Public Allies and other nonprofits around Tucson, channeling her enthusiasm and commitment toward making a positive impact in her community.

Aimee has joined the Office of Sustainability as the Senior Office Specialist, where she hopes to support the office and contribute to their mission to accelerate institutional sustainability and climate action. Aimee embraces the notion that by creating a sustainable future, we also pave the way for a fair and equitable society. Sustainability is not just about saving the planet; it's about tackling the unfairness and inequality that certain groups face. Sustainability means fighting for a fairer society where everyone has access to resources and a healthy environment. By pushing for sustainable practices, we can create a better world that takes care of both people and the planet, now and for generations to come.
