I am a Diné woman, artist, and environmental advocate from Albuquerque, New Mexico. I want to be a voice for plants and advocate for mother nature by creating sanctuaries and art. Our health largely depends on the spaces we inhabit. As climate change continues to impact communities worldwide—especially the most vulnerable—I'm driven to be part of the solution by helping create sustainable, healthy environments that can support both people and the planet for generations to come. While pursuing my bachelor's degree in Sustainable Plant Systems, I also plan to earn a minor in Sustainable Built Environments. By using biophilic and sustainable architecture, it would improve public health and well-being. I recharge by playing video games and creating manga—creative outlets that inspire me to think differently and stay connected to what I love.
