Halley Hughes (She/They)

Halley is pursuing a Masters of Science in Communication and Community Innovation at the University of Arizona. She's a graduate teaching assistant in the AETI program and has participated in SFS for four years. They're a third generation Tucsonan and is passionate about storytelling, community cultivation, art in science, biodiversity, indigenous sovereignty movements, resilience in food systems, and energy equity. They're an active climber, disabilities advocate, and a fiery vegan cook. She loves her two kitties and is passionate about increasing Tucson's wellbeing and climate resilience.
