Trevor has led efforts that have reduced the institution's greenhouse gas emissions by nearly 40% and co-chaired the development of the university's inaugural Sustainability & Climate Action Plan, shaping goals spanning energy, water, purchasing, and teaching and learning outcomes. He is also a core member of the team establishing the university's new Office of Integrated Campus Planning and is leading the institution's 10-Year Long Range Development Framework, efforts that will define how the university grows, invests, and plans for its future.

Trevor serves as Vice Chair of the City of Tucson Environmental Services Advisory Committee and is a member of the Board of Trustees for the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona. He also served on Mayor Regina Romero's Climate Action Advisory Council, which helped shape the City of Tucson's Climate Action & Adaptation Plan, and is a former member of the Tucson Young Professionals Advisory Committee.
