Emily Haworth (She/Her/Hers)
Campus Sustainability Fund Coordinator
Emily Haworth is the Campus Sustainability Fund Coordinator and believes the university offers an incredible space for sustainability praxis. Her role is to support campus community members in proposing and implementing projects, initiatives, events, and programs that make meaningful contributions to environmental and social sustainability goals.
Emily holds a Master of Science in Climate Science and Solutions and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental and Sustainability Studies. Both degrees were completed at Northern Arizona University where she taught a course for the Honors College on community building, assisted in the groundwork for the university’s Climate Action Plan, and was a mentor to students for over 5 years through the Honors College and Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation.
Prior to the University of Arizona, Emily worked as an analyst for a consulting firm based in the Bay Area where she specialized in assessing voluntary renewable energy projects and their community impact co-benefits. While her other professional experiences include managing a citizen science program dedicated to restoring monarch butterfly habitats and analyzing endangered species policies, Emily is most passionate about helping to propel smart climate solutions for a resilient future.
