Emma Romano (She/Her/Hers)
Outreach and Connections Specialist
Emma was a member of the very first Campus Sustainability Fund Committee and began her role in December of 2021 and left the Office of Sustainability in December of 2022. She studied Molecular and Cellular Biology Major and Health and Human Values. Her passion for environmental science started with her first science fair project in elementary school that continued through high school. She believes sustainability is an area where we all have the ability to make a change and educating others on its importance can spread the message faster. In her free time, she likes to bike to classes, cook, and hang out with friends.
Emma was the Project Facilitator for the following grants: Camp Cooper Open House, Action Projects for Pollinators, Campus Vegetation, Feeding the Future, and Campus Bathroom Retrofit Project.
