Natasha Loving (She/Her/Hers)
Community Garden Manager
Howdy hello! Natasha Loving came to the Office of Sustainability as a Garden Manager for the University's Community Garden. As the Garden Manager, Natasha oversaw a big transition in the Community Garden's history as the operations moved from Student for Sustainability to the Office of Sustainability. During this time, she worked on overhauling the garden's aging irrigation system, revamping the renter process, and establishing new policies to help the garden grow and evolve. Beyond being invaluable to the transition to the Office, she was invaluable to the SFS Garden Committee. As the Garden Committee co-chair, she led volunteer workdays, established new projects like the greenhouse and mural, and was always the gracious host for events like Cranksgiving and Stories in the Garden. Natasha and her partner in crime Chloe kept the Garden Committee going through a global pandemic and came out stronger on the other side.
Natasha graduated in May 2022 with a double major in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. She will be continuing her studies to pursue a masters at the University Wyoming with a full ride scholarship.
