Jose Garcia (He/Him/His)

Jose Garcia worked for Compost Cats from January 2021- December 2022 as a Compost Systems Specialist, and later as the FoodCycle Team Lead. He graduated with a Bachelors of Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in Economy and Industry, and a minor in Spanish. Jose has been integral in the development of our commercial food waste collection and composting program, FoodCycle. He also participated in education and outreach events and helped develop our compost demonstration sites. Since graduating, he has started working with the City of Tucson in Environmental Compliance, so he will continue to advance sustainability in Tucson!
