Campus Sustainability Fund

Our 2025 - 2026 Annual Grant application cycle is open now through January 25, 2026! For questions, help with a proposal, or to set up a meeting with our Campus Sustainability Fund Coordinator, please email Emily Haworth at emilyhaworth@arizona.edu.

The Campus Sustainability Fund (CSF) is a unique and non-traditional grant program of the Office of Sustainability and offers two types of grant opportunities: Mini Grants and Annual Grants. Eligible project proposals are diverse and can include projects that focus on biodiversity, ecological health, energy, water usage, cultivating resilience, increasing social capital, carbon emissions, waste reduction, and other efforts that meaningfully advance environmental and social sustainability on campus. Grants are selected by the student members of the CSF Committee.

Our Grant Opportunities

Four people work together in a lush garden, wearing casual clothing and gloves. Two hold flowers while the others engage in gardening tasks. A pathway runs through the garden, surrounded by various plants, flowers, and trees.

Mini Grants

Mini Grants fund small-scale but high-impact projects. The minimum allocation for a single Mini Grant project is $500 and the maximum allocation is $10,000.

Two individuals interact at a counter; one holds a bicycle while the other, behind the counter, hands something over. A computer monitor and a sign displaying rental rates and return instructions are visible. Behind them, items hang on display and a large map is mounted on the wall. The counter features the text 'WHERE THE WILDCATS ROAM.'

Annual Grants

The CSF maintains the majority of its budget for Annual Grants. The minimum allocation for an Annual Grant is $10,000 and the maximum allocation is $50,000.
