Whether you are seeking podcasts, videos, or blog posts, Mrs. Green’s World is your one-stop shop for local, in-depth information on topics ranging from energy and climate to health and spirituality. Mrs. Green, also known as Gina Murphy-Darling, possesses a passion for sustainability and the environment that are truly infectious. Her genuine excitement is refreshing, and permeates every bit of media produced by Mrs. Green's World; in a time of "doom and gloom" environmentalism, Gina brings much-needed positivity to all of her advocacy work across Southern Arizona.
I had the pleasure of meeting Gina for the first time at the 2018 University of Arizona Fall Career Days Green Career Fair, and we immediately hit it off. Since then we have been able to work together on many projects, and I have seen firsthand Gina's commitment to producing engaging content that benefits people and the planet. I believe in her work, and I'm happy to recommend her to our readers!
The mission of Mrs. Green’s World is to be a global education platform that produces tangible solutions to inspire action. Murphy-Darling strives to raise awareness about climate reality, sustainability, innovation and mindful living through their training, podcasts, media, public speaking, and events. She and her team engage our community by discussing real issues and leveraging experts and science to get trustworthy information.
What I truly enjoy about Mrs. Green’s World is Murphy-Darling’s ability to provide inspiration in a manner that is both enviable and admirable. On the podcast side of things, Gina brings a lightness and humility to her discussions and listens thoughtfully, making complex or overwhelming topics accessible to the lay audience through the conversations that she has with her guests. Moreover, Gina brings an authenticity and genuine interest in each topic, that when paired with her big-picture thinking, is a force to be reckoned with.
Taking a page from her bio, Gina is a dreamer. Her ultimate dream? “Raise the consciousness, of every human being on this planet, about the reality of our climate and the health of our planet. Then, educate, inspire and engage them to be the change they wish to see in the world.” I admire this perspective and encourage everyone to check out Mrs. Green’s World podcasts, videos, and blog posts!
