Project Description

Strengthening Sustainability Data Infrastructure will enhance the Office of Sustainability’s capacity to collect, analyze, manage, and share sustainability data to address critical data gaps that prevent clear, data-driven decision making and accountability. The project will create a centralized set of processes to improve sustainability data collection and management to create detailed annual reports that support informed decision-making and advance institutional sustainability.

The Campus Sustainability Fund will help fund two student Data Specialists and a full-time staff Data Analyst to streamline data collection and reporting processes. The project will partner with University Analytics & Institutional Research and Enterprise GIS to ensure data is collected in the most efficient, accurate, and accessible manner. The dashboards created as a result of this project will also be made accessible and available for use in university classes, fostering a more inclusive, transparent, and engaged campus community.
