Welcome, Wildcats!

The Campus Sustainability Fund Committee is excited to kick off the Fall 2023 semester and announce their Mini and Annual Grant application cycle dates and deadlines.

The Campus Sustainability Fund (CSF) is a unique and non-traditional grant program of the Office of Sustainability and offers two types of grant opportunities: Mini Grants and Annual Grants. Proposals are reviewed and selected by the student members of the CSF Committee.

Eligible projects must directly address environmental sustainability and/or social sustainability, and directly or indirectly benefit students at the University of Arizona. Project proposals based on social sustainability should incorporate environmental sustainability or climate action as a component of implementation, but these do not need to be the project’s primary focus.

All interested applicants can head over to the CSF’s website and review the Grant Application Information webpage to read about applicant eligibility, project requirements, and what the Committee will and won't fund, and approved project expectations.

Mini Grants award between $250 - $5,000 and awarded projects have until June 30, 2024 to complete their project. Applications open August 28 and close September 24, 2023!

This opportunity is open until filled and awarded projects have until June 30, 2024 to complete their project. Learn more about the application process for this grant opportunity on our webpage!

Annual Grants open in the fall semester and close early in the spring semester. Funding requests can range from $5,000 - $100,000. Depending on a project's goal and timeline, multi-year funding is available, but eligibility is at the discretion of the Committee. Funding will be allocated in June 2024 and projects must be completed by June 30, 2025.

Applications open November 13, 2023 and close January 21, 2024. To learn more about the application process, please visit our Annual Grant webpage.
