Impact Report

Congratulations on your Campus Sustainability Fund grant! We’re excited to hear about your project's accomplishments and next steps. 

This report is a requirement for approved projects and can be submitted anytime from May - June, but no later than June 30th. Should a project conclude sooner than May, the final report can be submitted at the close of the project, once all data is collected/ finalized.  

Impact Reports are important records for each grant. This report is not only for your team and the CSF Committee to understand your project’s progress, but also for the the campus community to review. All Impact Reports will be posted on our webpage, Funded Projects, under your project’s page so individuals interested in your project can learn more about your project’s trajectory, challenges, and achievements. 

If the CSF Committee feels that insufficient information is provided, the Committee will request a new submission. 

Please provide all metrics that are relevant to your project in the Standard Metrics section. If the response requested is not applicable to your project, please put N/A. In the Requested Metrics section of the Impact Report, you must enter your project's metrics that have been selected by your project team and requested by the CSF Committee.

Section 1: Award Information
Who is submitting this report?
Section 2: Standard Metrics
Provide the number of people in the core project team involved in planning, implementing, and managing this project (broken out by students, staff, and faculty).
List the total number and names of the partnerships or collaborations developed with other programs, departments, student groups, community groups, or other organizations.
List the number of events that occurred as part of the project. Please separate entries into type (workshop, presentation, outreach, etc.) and provide the number of participants per type.
Provide the number of individuals who participated in hands-on learning, paid positions, fieldwork and other project-related activities that provided skills and experience.
Share links to websites, social media accounts, and/or news coverage that promote the project. (e.g. interviews, YouTube, Instagram, etc.)
Section 3: Requested Metrics
Please report your project's impact by reporting cumulative (running total) metrics and their most updated number or response. Include all requested metrics as well as other measures of success that quantify your project's impact.
Section 4: Project Narrative

Use this section to describe what was accomplished through this project. Please be as descriptive and specific as possible. 

Your response could include:

• What changed because of this project?
• Did the project accomplish what it had set out to do?
• Were there unexpected impacts?

Use this section to describe what will happen now that the grant has come to a close. Please be as specific as possible. 

Your response could include:

• Will this project continue? If so, how?
• Did you purchase equipment or install something on campus (garden, sign, etc.)?
• If yes, how will these items or permanent changes to campus be used and maintained in the future and by who?

Use this section to describe any challenges encountered during your project. This is useful for future applicants who might want to lead a similar project!

Your response could include:

• What challenges did you encounter during this project?
• How did you overcome these challenges?

What recommendations do you have from your time leading this project?

Your response could include:

• What recommendations do you have for the future of this project? Do you have any ideas for complementary projects?
• What recommendations do you have for future grant recipients?
• Are there any changes you recommend to improve the CSF program or application process?
